Our water is not great unless it is filtered. We had a different refrigerator with a lesser filter and it did not taste very good but this new whirlpool refrigerator and this edr1rxd1 water filters the water tastes great!

This was one of the easiest water filters (edr1rxd1) I have had to replace in a refrigerator. it is the direct replacement and I see no difference in the one that came with the refrigerator. It is very affordable.
